He was the GM in Carolina from April of 2014 to March of 2018, when he moved to the role of President for a few months before being fired. Ron Francis has been the GM in Seattle since July of 2019 and has been in charge of the expansion draft and everything else since then. They have had good entry drafts, have made some decent free agency signings and made some good trades. I wasn't a fan of what the Kraken did during the expansion draft in building their original roster, but they have made plenty of good moves since then.
